DataGuardian® On Demand

DataGuardian On Demand is our most simple backup solution...easy to deploy, understand, use and trust.   You tell us what server you want backed up, when you want to initiate the backup, what types of files you want protected, how often you want to backup and for how long you want the backed up data to be maintained online.  Set it and forget it.  IPR will take the initial “seed” of all the data you want protected, we compress it and, if you want it encrypted, we’ll encrypt it and give you the only passkey.  IPR will  then store this data on RAID 5+ technology in our primary datacenter and back that up to a second datacenter located at least 80 miles away from the primary backup copy.  There is a small software agent that is placed on your server that follows your instructions.  It initiates backup events as you have set them and during each event it captures only the new or changed data, compresses and encrypts it before pushing it out through an outbound only port in your firewall, through a VPN or dedicated connection to IPR’s primary datacenter.  Once received, this data is, in turn, backed up to our secondary data center.  Each backup event triggers the creation of a “virtual full backup” by making it possible to compile each incremental backup sequentially so that every version of the data is available online without the massive amount of data storage that a real full would cause.  That’s it....

When you need to retrieve a file or folder, the simple Wizard will help you locate and pull back the data over a network connection in seconds.  If you need to retrieve a large amount of data, IPR will make a third copy of your backed up data, load it onto one of our QuickShip Mobile Vaults and send it to you by the most expedient means possible.  You recover your data from our QSM vault at LAN speeds.

DataGuardian Rapid Recovery

DataGuardian Rapid Recovery is virtually the same as our DataGuardian On Demand service except that we locate the primary backup copy within your datacenter, for immediate recovery of large volumes of data at LAN speed.  This data is backed up to IPR’s secondary backup datacenter so that you can maintain an offsite copy, just in case!
